No maze of reports — just what you check every day, fast and easy to read.

A clear dashboard

Visits, visitors, pageviews, bounce rate, pages per visit and time on site — charted against the previous period.

Traffic sources

Search, social, messengers, Google Discover and Dzen, AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity, ads and UTM tags.

Goals with zero setup

Phone and email clicks, messenger links, file downloads and outbound links are tracked out of the box. Custom goals take one attribute.

FAQ

Can I run it alongside Google Analytics or another counter?

Yes. LightMetrica works independently and doesn't interfere with other analytics. Many people keep it as a lightweight second counter so they always have numbers, whatever happens to other tools.

How are visitors counted without cookies?

An anonymous ID is computed from the IP address, browser and site, mixed with a random salt that changes every day. The IP address itself is never stored. So a visitor is recognized within a day but not across days: we don't show "new" vs "returning" visitors — and we don't track people.

Why do numbers differ slightly from other analytics tools?

Every counter has its own rules for what counts as a visit, a bounce or a bot. We start a new visit after 30 minutes of inactivity and count a bounce as a visit under 15 seconds with a single pageview. A difference of a few percent between tools is normal.

How do I import my Metrica history?

In the counter settings, enter your Metrica counter ID and an OAuth token with statistics access. We pull the data day by day through the Metrica API. The token is used once and never stored.

What data goes to the AI summary?

Only the week's totals — visits and changes by source and page. Nothing about individual visitors. If the AI is unavailable, the summary is written from a template.

How much does it cost?

LightMetrica is free to use. If that ever changes, we'll let you know well in advance — your data and settings stay with you.
